Drybar Doylestown is looking for a business-minded, sales-driven Shop Manager who can inspire a team, deliver an exceptional guest experience, and help grow our business. We’re looking for someone who takes ownership, leads by example, and knows how to turn goals into results. You should be comfortable selling, coaching others to sell, and holding your team accountable while creating a positive, supportive environment. You will work directly with the owner and receive mentorship informed by her leadership experience at the world’s largest companies.

Responsibilities

Sales Leadership and Business Growth

  • Own the shop’s sales performance, including memberships, rebooking, premium add-ons, and retail products.
  • Set clear daily and weekly goals, track results, and coach the team to meet and exceed expectations.
  • Lead by example in guest conversations, helping clients understand which services, products, and memberships provide the best value.
  • Build a culture where selling means educating guests and making thoughtful recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities to fill appointments, increase weekday business, and turn first-time guests into loyal clients.
  • Use sales and booking reports to recognize strong performance, address gaps, and make practical improvements.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, coach, and retain a strong team of stylists and front desk staff.
  • Give clear direction, consistent feedback, and meaningful recognition.
  • Address performance concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Develop team members’ confidence, service skills, and sales abilities.
  • Foster a welcoming environment built on respect, accountability, and continuous growth.

Guest Experience and Shop Operations

  • Maintain Drybar standards for service quality, cleanliness, and professionalism.
  • Resolve guest concerns with empathy and sound judgment.
  • Build schedules that match guest demand and support efficient operations.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, inventory, daily checklists, and communication.
  • Work alongside the team performing blowouts and styling services.
  • Work at least two weekend shifts, with administrative responsibilities planned primarily during slower weekday periods.

Qualifications

  • Valid Pennsylvania cosmetology license.
  • Strong blowout and styling skills.
  • Experience leading a team and driving sales results.
  • Confidence selling memberships, services, and retail products.
  • Strong organization, communication, and follow-through.
  • Ability to coach with empathy while maintaining clear expectations.
  • Availability for at least two weekend shifts.
