About the Role

Drybar Wheaton is a blowout-only salon and we are looking for a driven, people-first leader to join our team as Assistant Manager of Client Experience & Community Engagement. This is not a stylist role — no hair license required. This is a business leadership role for someone who knows how to grow a loyal client base, lead a team, and represent a brand in the community.

If you have a background in retail management, salon or spa operations, boutique fitness, or any membership-driven service business — and you are looking for something more intimate, more autonomous, and more rewarding than big retail — we want to hear from you.

■ WHAT YOU’LL OWN

  • Membership growth: Drive Barfly membership conversions and retention — this is the shop’s most important revenue stream and you own it
  • Community visibility: Represent Drybar Wheaton at local events, convert attendees into members and bookings, and build our presence in the Wheaton area
  • Client experience: Own the guest journey from check-in to checkout, monitor RYB feedback, and address concerns before they become problems
  • Floor leadership: Lead the team when the Operating Partner is not present, delegate tasks, hold standards, and keep energy high
  • Bridal support: Assist with bridal consultations and bookings and ensure every bridal client receives an exceptional experience
  • Retail & ticket growth: Coach the front desk team on product recommendations and upsells to grow our average ticket

■ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2+ years in a retail, salon, spa, or service management role
  • Experience managing or growing a loyalty or membership program
  • Strong floor presence and team leadership instincts
  • Comfort representing a brand at community events and converting that visibility into revenue
  • Owner’s mindset — you notice what needs to be done and you do it
  • Excellent guest communication and conflict resolution skills
