We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylists to join our dynamic team in a vibrant salon environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in hair styling techniques and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity while helping clients achieve their desired looks. Your expertise in various hair treatments and styles will play a crucial role in enhancing our clients' confidence and satisfaction.

 

Experience

• Valid California Cosmetology or Barber License (or currently in school and close to completion)
• Proven experience in hair styling, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Knowledge of retail math for managing product sales is beneficial. For you to attain Bonuses!
• Candidates should be enthusiastic about providing outstanding customer service while demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
• Positive attitude and drive to succeed!

As a stylist on the Drybar team, your role extends beyond delivering exceptional blowouts. We rely on all team members to contribute to the overall success, cleanliness, and efficiency of the shop. Key responsibilities include:

 

Teamwork & Collaboration:

• Supporting fellow stylists and front desk staff to maintain a smooth, positive work environment.
• Provide professional hair styling services, including washing, blowdrying and stylist to clients.
• Provide updos, braids, and extension services
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences every shift
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
• Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client experiences.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques through continuous education.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations

Salon Cleanliness:

• Folding and restocking clean towels
• Taking out trash as needed
• Dusting surfaces and wiping down shelves, counters, and styling stations
• Cleaning and sanitizing brushes and combs
• Keeping the break room tidy and organized
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with salon policies.

Restocking & Organization:

• Refilling station drawers with tools and supplies
• Helping to restock back bar products and retail inventory

 

These shared duties ensure we uphold Drybar standards and create a welcoming, professional space for both clients and team members.
