The Shop Manager is a key leadership role at Drybar and one of three essential positions that drive the success of each location. As the leader of the Capitol View shop, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, ensuring operational excellence, and cultivating a positive and empowering team culture rooted in Drybar’s ten core values.
You will oversee day-to-day operations, uphold brand standards, and be fully accountable for shop performance. If you're passionate about people, leadership, and creating a fun, stylish environment, we’d love to meet you!
Lead and inspire the shop’s leadership team, which may include:
Shop Educator
Shift Leaders
Supervise a team of:
4-6 full- and part-time Bartenders
20+ full- and part-time Stylists
Interview, hire, and retain top talent that aligns with Drybar’s culture and service standards
Proactively recruit Bartenders through outreach & recruiting platforms
Identify, mentor, and develop high-potential team members for future leadership roles
Provide continuous feedback, coaching, and performance management
Drive excellence in service, quality, and client experience through regular coaching and quality control
Communicate and implement new policies, procedures, and initiatives
Drybar is open 7 days a week: Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling, timeclocks, inventory, and supplies
Monitor and manage the shop’s P&L to achieve financial goals
Ensure an exceptional customer experience that reflects Drybar’s brand and values
Resolve client concerns professionally and promptly
Oversee visual merchandising and marketing efforts to drive awareness and sales
Team communication and development
Training and ongoing education
Recruiting and staffing
Scheduling and labor planning
Inventory and supply management
Sales performance and POS management
HR support and timekeeping
Facilities oversight and maintenance
Enforcing safety, cleanliness, and cosmetology regulations

Minimum 2 years of management experience
Proven success in a fast-paced, service-focused environment
Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
Strong leadership and team development skills
Experience with scheduling and inventory management
Ability to manage financial performance and grow a location
Salon industry experience or a cosmetology license is a plus, but not required
Ensure full compliance with State Board and local health department requirements
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients and team members
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
