What You’ll Do:  

 

• Empower and Inspire: Lead interactive training sessions that elevate our stylists’ skills in blowouts, braids, updos, extensions, and other add-on services.  
• Cultivate Excellence: Drive a positive, learning-focused culture that champions professional growth and stellar customer service.

Who You Are:  

 

• Experienced Professional: You have a minimum of one year as a hairstylist, cosmetologist trainer, or educator in a salon, barber shop, or spa environment. (If you’re passionate and have relevant experience, we still want to hear from you!)  
• Licensed Expert: You hold a current, valid state cosmetology license.

As a Shop Educator at Drybar Ashburn, you embody the pinnacle of styling expertise and serve as the guiding force behind our commitment to unparalleled service excellence. Responsibilities Include:

• Provide in-shop education and hands-on training to new hires and existing stylists.
• Evaluate styling techniques and provide constructive feedback to maintain Drybar’s high-quality standards.
• Support onboarding of new team members with orientation, brand immersion, and technical skills development.
• Stay current on Drybar techniques, tools, and product offerings—and share updates with the team.
• Lead by example on the floor, delivering exceptional blowouts and client service.
• Partner with Shop Manager to identify training needs and performance opportunities.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment that reflects the Drybar culture.

 • Valid cosmetology license in the state of [Insert State].
 • 2+ years of professional styling experience (blowout/bar styling experience preferred).
 • Previous training or educator experience a plus.
 • Passion for teaching, mentoring, and team development.
 • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 • Ability to lead by example and maintain a positive attitude.
 • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and peak times.
