Position Overview:

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of Drybar Highland. You’ll oversee scheduling, manage employees, drive sales and membership growth, and ensure top-tier customer service. This position requires someone who is organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently while maintaining a positive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Leadership:

  • Oversee daily shop operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.

  • Manage employee schedules to ensure proper staffing coverage while controlling labor costs.

  • Handle inventory management, ordering, and stock replenishment as needed.

  • Ensure the shop is clean, organized, and always meeting Drybar brand standards.

Employee Management & Development:

  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of stylists and front desk associates.

  • Foster a positive and professional work environment.

  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to ensure team success.

  • Address and resolve any employee concerns or conflicts proactively.

Sales & Membership Growth:

  • Drive retail and membership sales by training and motivating staff to upsell products and services.

  • Set and track sales goals, providing team support to meet and exceed targets.

  • Create and implement promotions and client engagement strategies to increase revenue.

Customer Experience & Service Excellence:

  • Ensure that every client receives an exceptional Drybar experience from start to finish.

  • Handle customer concerns or issues with professionalism and a solutions-focused mindset.

  • Build strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

Strong leadership skills – experience in a management or supervisory role preferred.
Highly organized & self-motivated – able to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Sales-driven mindset – ability to motivate the team to meet sales and membership goals.
Customer service excellence – passionate about creating an outstanding client experience.
Problem-solving skills – proactive in identifying and resolving challenges.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Cosmetology License is a PLUS
