Looking for an assistant operations management position with growth opportunities in the beauty / cosmetology industry?  Drybar Shops® is looking for an Assistant Shop Manager to support the Shop Manager and oversee shop oeprations and the client experience. Manager Qualifications

  • A current and valid cosmetology license in the State of FL
  • Must complete Drybar stylist training and be efficient with all elements of the "Anatomy of the Blowout" 
  • Must be able to work flexible days and hours; including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience in management including but not limited to experience as a sales manager, operations manager, and/or general salon manager
  • Has excellent leadership skills; ability to lead a team in an organized and efficient way ensuring operations runs smoothly
  • Shampoo, blow-dry and amazing hair styling & finishing skills. Ability to do a blowout in 45 minutes
  • Supervise shop staff on any given shift assigned
  • Ability to take direction and work as a team
  • Lead team members to enhance field performance, client experience, product sales, cost control, staffing, team development, client experience and membership sales
  • Ensure that all company procedures and policies, federal, state, and local regulations are followed. Ensure all of Drybar’s timekeeping policy and supervisor policy addendum
  • Ensure talent development within shop to maximize performance, drive revenue, and achieve annual business goals
  • Work closely with Human Resources to cultivate employee relations, performance management, culture & development, values, safety initiatives and training
  • Responsible for reporting all shop inventory, regularly check all retail supplies, assist with stocking products and supplies
  • Work closely with the Shop Manager to maximize the shops financial potential, by achieving daily sales metrics and labor budget goals
  • Train new staff: educate on using Booker and Drybar’s 10 core values. Ensure Stylists are completing blowouts within 45 minutes
  • A desire to provide exceptional service not only to our clients but to our staff. Implement problem solving strategies and maintain awareness
  • Resolve team member relations and customer issues ensuring the company is protected against liability with mindfulness of shop morale and culture
  • Implement structure, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to identify and problem solve, set expectations, goals, and delegate
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence
  • Must be an excellent organizer and problem solver with strong project management skills
  • Competent trainer and motivator
  • MindBody Software/Booker experience a plus
