Salon Receptionist / Customer Service Representative

This is not your normal Salon Receptionist position.  At Drybar, our retail receptionists are called Bartenders because that’s what they do – they tend to the social experience of our bar atmosphere.

 

We're growing and fiercely recruiting amazing people for the coolest retail sales associate / customer service position on the job market!

Our blowouts provide clients with 45 minutes of relaxation, beautification, and happiness!  They can enjoy great movies, music and a mimosa while they catch up. Get together with besties before the party starts and get pampered while enjoying complimentary drinks and additional services, such as a scalp massage or deep conditioning hair mask to further nourish your hair and relax your mind.

 

We are looking for fantastic retail sales associates to provide excellent customer service to our clients.

 

Currently hiring for:

• Thu - 2pm-8pm
• Fri - 7am-3pm
• Sat - 8am-2pm

 

Schedules can flex/evolve over time as needed.  High school diploma/graduate or equivalent required.

 

• Greet and check-in clients - creating a warm, fun and welcoming atmosphere
• Assist Stylists with tools
• Manage Schedule and book clients
• Keep the shop running efficiently
• Current shift needs are
  • Thu - 2pm-8pm
  • Fri - 7am-3pm
  • Sat - 8am-2pm

• High school diploma/graduate or equivalent
• 1+ years’ experience in a fast paced, customer service centric environment (salon receptionist, sales associate, retail sales associate, customer service representative, store associate, salon associate, or a similar position)
• Previous experience with Point of Sale Systems strongly preferred
• Previous salon/spa experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work at a sustained, fast pace
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Track record in providing over-the-top, amazing customer service!
• Ability to multitask with ease
• Frequently required to stand and/or walk for duration of 6-8 hour long shifts
• Has the technical ability and skills to operate a point of sale system
• Problem solver – use logic and support resources to solve problems at the front desk
• Maintains professional demeanor under pressure
• Drybar follows all applicable federal, state and local laws regarding background checks
